Tuning into the world you live in to help you find your way
I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, with over ten years’ experience.
I know well the feeling of being ‘othered’ and feeling different. This has led me to take a sensitive and curious approach to therapy. This means that I take time to get to know what you need to feel heard and safe. I think it is because of this I work well with people who are neurodiverse and/or those who have experience of generally being on the ‘outside’.
I have supported individuals across a wide range of life-experiences including:
Relationship difficulties (including family, romantic partners and work)
Issues of identity (particularly around sexuality, gender presentation and disability)
Loneliness and disconnection
Anxiety and depression
Grief and coping with change
Trauma/traumatic events
Addiction
My training and previous experience
I trained at the acclaimed Metanoia Institute in which I hold an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and diploma in Integrative Psychodynamic Counselling.
I am registered and accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and follow its code of ethics and practice.
I have previously worked with individuals who are experiencing sight loss with RNIB, and supporting individuals who have experienced trauma at Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network. I have worked alongside clients at Waterloo Community Counselling who were facing a variety of challenges, from Anxiety, low-mood and loss.
